As a therapist, you will provide comprehensive mental health services in a safe and warm environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct initial assessments and intake interviews to determine mental health diagnoses and needs. Develop, implement, and maintain individualized treatment plans based on clinical expertise. Provide individual, family, couples, and/or group therapy sessions. Utilize evidence‑based therapeutic modalities and interventions to help clients reach their goals. Collaborate with the team to deliver holistic care. Complete ongoing documentation and maintain accurate, confidential client records. Participate in ongoing professional development and training. Adhere to professional standards and ethical guidelines. Attend weekly staff meetings and one‑on‑ones. Qualifications Must be licensed to practice in California (Marriage and Family Therapist, Clinical Social Worker, Professional Counselor, or equivalent). Minimum 1,500 hours toward licensure strongly recommended. Credentialing with insurance payors preferred but not required. Ability to bring clients is a plus, but not required. Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field. Proven experience in mental health counseling or therapy, including treatment planning, diagnosis, and ongoing documentation. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with appropriate client boundaries. High cultural competence and ability to work with diverse client populations. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion. Proficiency with Office 365 and EHR systems (e.g., Valant) is a plus. Compensation & Benefits Package Base yearly salary range: $65,000 – $85,000 (depending on qualifications and caseload). Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance. 401(k) retirement plan. Work Hours & Expectations As a salaried employee, you are expected to work a 40‑hour week: minimum 25 hours dedicated to face‑to‑face client work and 15 hours for chart maintenance, meetings, outreach, presentations, and training.
