Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $2230 per week.

Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• ASN completion required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Illinois license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 24 months gap required between for Staff at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health and no current placement allowed at Program: RightSourcing Program - Carle Health.

Unit Details: Cares for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. Unit procedures/equipment include IV access (peripheral, central line, PICC, and/or Infusaport), IM and SQ injections, chest tube insertion and management, sequential compression device, blood glucose monitor, PCA machine, thoracentesis and paracentesis, TPN, thrombolytic therapy, Kangaroo Pump, and central line insertion.

Shift & Scheduling: Weekends and holidays as needed.

Floating Requirements: Travelers assigned to the Greater Peoria Service Area may be required to float between the following sites: Carle Health Methodist Hospital, Carle Health Pekin Hospital, and/or Carle Health Proctor Hospital. The Carle Leader will notify the traveler directly when there is a need to float between locations.
