Junior Corporate Finance Associate

Job Overview A law firm seeks a Junior Corporate Finance Associate to join its corporate finance practice in Chicago, IL. The ideal candidate will have one to three years of legal experience, with a focus on finance transactions. Duties Represent lenders and/or borrowers in finance transactions. Draft, negotiate, and close asset-based, real estate, and cash flow loans. Engage in general transactional work as needed. Collaborate with a well-established team on various projects. Requirements 1+ years of transferable legal experience. Strong academic credentials and excellent drafting skills. High level of motivation and attention to detail. Licensed or eligible to become licensed to practice law in Illinois. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Active member of the Illinois Bar or ability to waive in. Skills Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
