Job Description
Make an impact supporting students’ mental health and well-being with this school psychologist contract position. This assignment provides leave coverage and is situated within a welcoming, collaborative educational environment. You’ll play a key role in assessment, intervention, and the development of supportive programs, helping foster student success during the contract period. The position is scheduled for three days a week, running from December 7, 2026, through March 21, 2027.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or a closely related discipline
- Valid state licensure and certification to practice as a school psychologist
- Experience in conducting psychoeducational evaluations, including cognitive, behavioral, and emotional assessments
- Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, parents, and support staff
- Proficiency in developing and implementing intervention plans and providing multi-tiered student support
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer individualized assessments to determine student needs
- Collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team to contribute to IEPs and student progress plans
- Provide direct services, including counseling, small-group interventions, and crisis response
- Offer consultative support to educators and families regarding student behavior and learning needs
- Maintain accurate, confidential documentation and complete reports in compliance with school policies and deadlines
- Assist in the development and rollout of campus-wide preventive mental health initiatives
