Our designers assist through all phases of the design and install process. This process begins with the initial meeting of clients, continues through the creation of the landscape design, the estimate and proposal, revisions, product selection and the eventual supervised installation. It should be known that your designs will be installed by some truly talented individuals. Our crews have passion and we run some of the most mechanized landscape operations in the Midwest. We run with great equipment and feel its essential in promoting the professional image we represent.
Qualifications:
· A two-year degree at minimum in landscape design plus previous experience in the industry is preferred.
· Good working knowledge of plant material, in addition to hardscaping materials.
· Highly motivated, self-starter that understands what makes a landscape project succeed.
· Strong interpersonal skills such as communication, organization, and time management.
· Reliable and punctual is a must.
· Adaptability to an ever-changing workflow is key to handling the surges of workload through the seasons.
· Occasional Saturdays orSundays may be required during the busy months of May, June, September, andOctober.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing a positive relationship with clients and continuing that relationship through the project and into the future.
- Design custom landscapes through DynaScape cad design systems.
- Assist with in store sales as needed on busy days.
- Assist general manager in material ordering, production ordering, quality control monitoring and troubleshooting.
This can be a full-time, part-time and or seasonal position if desired.
We utilize a base salary plus commission earning system. As a full-time designer you should expect $50,000 to $75,000 per year based on sales qualifications, and work ethic. Uniforms are supplied.
