Job Opportunity – LDRP Registered Nurse – Montana

Start Date: November 16, 2026

Location: Montana

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends equally distributed among staff. 48-hour work weeks approved. Holiday coverage required (must work at least one winter holiday pair). Limited call requirement (maximum once per pay period with 30-minute callback time). 24 hours of orientation provided.

Highlights:

• Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) role in a 22-bed Critical Access hospital setting
• Comprehensive OB nursing including triage, labor management, recovery, postpartum care, and newborn care
• Epic charting system with modern equipment including wireless fetal monitoring and JADA device for PPH management
• Patient ratios vary from 1:1 to 1:6 depending on acuity; average daily census of 2
• Float responsibilities limited to skill-based support (IV starts, phone coverage) without full patient assignments in other areas
• One pre-approved time off request available during contract period

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in LDRP/OB
• Previous travel experience required – seasoned travelers only
• Certifications: BLS, NRP required; CLC and STABLE preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Skills: Labor and delivery, circulating for C-sections, sterile vaginal exams, triage of obstetrical patients, newborn care
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must pass background screening (facility does not accept certain background exceptions)
