Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN) - Night Shift

Location: Pennsylvania

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift: 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00). Every other weekend and holiday required.

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional nursing care to patients with mental health disorders, ensuring their safety and well-being during treatment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and assess patients' physical and mental health status.
• Administer medications and therapeutic interventions as prescribed.
• Implement behavior management techniques and crisis intervention strategies.
• Document patient care activities and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Support patients in coping with their conditions and promoting recovery.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid Pennsylvania RN license required at the time of application.
• Current certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Crisis Prevention Management (CCM) are required.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a mental health setting.
• Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred.
• Charge experience is preferred.
