Safety Engineer
Education Degree in Engineering, Science, or related discipline Bachelor's degree with 5 years experience required, or equivalent experience. Master's degree with 3 years experience preferred. Experience Internally & externally recognized authority on human safety risk area knowledge. Knowledge of safety regulations (i.e. lasers, hoisting/lifting/transport, human safety/ergonomics, electrical compliance). Experience in multidisciplinary project work.
Role and responsibilities Conduct reviews to evaluate product safety with human safety emphasis. Support product management in customer interaction regarding product safety. Identify and isolate potential safety hazards. Review safety procedures. Anticipate, recognize, and evaluate safety hazards.
