Registered Nurse (RN)An opportunity for a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver coordinated nursing care according to established standards of care and the nursing process. The successful candidate will supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines while exercising critical thinking, professional discretion, and independent judgment.Job SummaryThe RN will be responsible for the following:Collecting and analyzing relevant data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.Developing care plans that include prescribed interventions to achieve desired outcomes.Implementing the care plan, coordinating care delivery, and promoting a safe health environment.Evaluating progress toward attaining established outcomes.Collaborating with patients, families, and healthcare providers to provide comprehensive patient care.Providing educational opportunities for patients, families, and team members.Participating in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.Delegating tasks appropriately and coordinating team members' duties.Performing additional job-related duties as assigned.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) is preferred.Acute care facility experience is preferred.Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor is required.AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification is required.AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification is required.AHA-NRP or ARC-NALS certification is required.At least two years of recent experience in the nursing field is required.Organizational RequirementsThe organization is committed to the safety and well-being of all associates and patients.
