We are looking for dependable, hardworking Dishwashers to join the Urth Caffé team. As a Dishwasher, you play an essential role in keeping our kitchen clean, organized, and operating efficiently while supporting the overall guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils using commercial dishwashing equipment.

• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized dishwashing and kitchen area.

• Properly store clean dishes and kitchen equipment.

• Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen support as needed.

• Remove trash and recycling while maintaining cleanliness throughout the kitchen.

• Support front-of-house operations by cleaning and resetting tables when needed.

• Assist with food delivery to guests as directed.

• Clean and sanitize dining and work areas in accordance with company and health department standards.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred but not required.

• Knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices is a plus.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

• Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift and carry up to 25 pounds without assistance.

• Stand and walk for extended periods.

• Perform repetitive bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting, reaching, pushing, pulling, and stooping.

• Work safely in wet, hot, and occasionally cold environments.

• Safely climb ladders when necessary.

• Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) throughout the workday.

• Respond quickly in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Work Environment

This position is performed in a commercial kitchen and bakery environment. Employees should expect exposure to hot and cold temperatures, kitchen equipment, food preparation areas, and moderate noise levels. Strict adherence to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards is required.
