Pay Rate: $2,600 - $2,750 gross per week

Travel: All Inclusive

Schedule: Monday-Friday ; 8am-5pm

EMR: Athena Health

Additional Details:

• Perform ultrasound studies (echocardiogram, carotid) and create preliminary findings for physician review.
• Apply sonographic skills to adapt procedures based on anatomy, pathology, and diagnostic needs.
• Manage ultrasound schedules and maintain patient records, exam logs, and billing forms.
• Communicate critical findings to physicians as needed.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment, supplies, and a safe, organized workspace.
• Greet patients, collect relevant medical history, and ensure a professional, empathetic experience.
• Participate in professional development, departmental meetings, and in-service programs.
• Adhere to MCR Health safety policies and organizational mission
• Perform additional duties as assigned
• 10-15 procedures/day

EXPERIENCE:

CERTIFICATION / REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 6 months recent experience as an Echo Technologist within the last 6 months
• Spanish language skills helpful (not required)
• AHA or ARC certification
• Graduate of CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program (required)
• BS in Diagnostic Medical Sonography preferred
• ARDMS or CCI certification within 6 months of hire (required)
• Current CME compliance for specialty (required)
• BLS Certification (AHA, Red Cross, or ASHI) required

STATE LICENSE REQUIREMENTS

• Any state license
