Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (18:45–07:15) | Straight 48-hour weeks or alternating 36/48-hour weeks expected

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit during night shift hours
• Monitor and assess patients requiring telemetry, identifying and responding to changes in condition
• Float to other Med/Surg/Tele units as assigned based on facility need
• Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings using electronic health record systems
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or compact licensure eligibility
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry nursing
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
• Ability to adapt quickly to varying unit environments and patient populations
