Senior Manager Enterprise Data (Liquidity & Payments)

Overview Leads a team of associates who drive technical innovation and continuous improvement initiatives through enterprise data management. Directs initiatives that enhance enterprise data quality, governance, reporting, analytics, and metadata management in support of Commercial Banking products and services, including Liquidity Management (Deposits and Investments), Payments, Foreign Exchange (FX), and Trade Finance. Provides expert guidance and leadership to associates, management, and business partners to ensure the delivery of trusted, actionable data that supports business performance, operational efficiency, regulatory reporting, and strategic decision-making. Oversees Enterprise Data Warehouse activities, including data integration, lineage, controls, and the creation and maintenance of related documentation. Implements data strategies, governance frameworks, and process improvements that advance enterprise data management objectives while aligning with broader organizational and Commercial Banking goals. Responsibilities Data Enhancement – Leads projects and process improvements that enhance the quality, management, and storage of enterprise data. Manages a team of associates who facilitate initiatives and data management. Directs activities that improve profiling, exception reporting, data analysis, and issue resolution as well as general fixes for the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Delegates work tasks and makes adjustments as needed to ensure appropriate data governance. Business Support – Creates data policies and procedures to be used both within the department and enterprise-wide. Reviews feedback from associates to identify areas of improvement within data management capabilities. Oversees data validation and reporting to ensure quality and completeness of data prior to business use. Directs the creation and maintenance of technical documentation for the Enterprise Data Warehouse. Makes modifications as necessary to processes to enhance efficiencies. Managerial Functions – Establishes and monitors expectations to achieve company and department goals. Makes appropriate changes to team policies, procedures, and efficiencies to meet objectives. Manages performance, training, and evaluation of assigned staff. Provides professional development opportunities. Business Strategy – Facilitates the implementation of process improvements and strategies that develop the Bank’s data management capabilities. Serves as an expert data resource to other management, associates, and project teams. Maintains strong knowledge of current and emerging technologies or trends impacting the financial service industry. Qualifications Minimum 8 years of experience in Risk Management including Enterprise Data Warehouse, or high school diploma/GED with 12 years of experience. Understanding of data warehousing and transformation, ETL processes, and knowledge of technologies and trends impacting the financial service and insurance industry. Experience in Banking, Regulatory, Data Warehouse/Data Lakes, AWS / Snowflake. Proven track record of leading agile data product delivery across cross‑functional teams using frameworks such as Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban. Domain expertise in Commercial Bank – Treasury Management and Liquidity Solutions, Global Banking. Benefits Benefits are an integral part of total rewards.
