Help us raise the expectation of what an agriculture company can be and grow your career with Nutrien.What You'll Do:Ensuring safe and efficient work practicesFollowing and adhering to all safety policies, procedures, participating by entering near misses, reporting incidents and attending safety meetings as requiredPerforming daily maintenance by welding, cutting, reading drawings, layout, bolting maintaining repairing different types of static equipmentWelding, fabrication and installation of piping and piping componentsPerforming maintenance and overhauls on equipmentPerforming pipe fitter welding work including major overhauls of equipmentRepairing heat exchangers, tanks, screws, elevators, plant structures, and boilersEvaluating possible hazards and creating a plan to perform all work in a safe mannerActing with a high degree of integrity and ownershipExcelling in a team environment while also being a self-starterWillingness to work overtime as requiredUnderstanding and complying with standards, policies, and procedures (LO/TO, Hot Work, Confined Space etc.)Comprehending all maintenance practices and continuous improvement conceptsWhat You'll Bring:Possess a minimum of grade 12 education, or GED equivalentTechnical degree or vocational training in Welding is preferred2+ years of maintenance/welding experience, preferably in an industrial settingAbility to qualify to ASME B&PV Code Section IX for welding carbon and stainless-steel pipe in all positions using SMAW and GTAWBasic computer skills, SAP experience considered a plusTraining and experience operating mobile equipment including forklifts, man lifts, carry deck cranes, scissor lifts, etc.Experience with hydro testing of pressure equipmentCompensation & Benefits:The wage range for this role, in the Kennewick, Washington location, is between $36.91 - $52.55 USD per hour. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
