• Prioritize patient comfort and safety, explaining each step of the process with kindness and clarity
• Collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians, ensuring the delivery of top-tier diagnostic images
• Manage and maintain ultrasound equipment, promptly addressing technical issues
• Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic health record system
• Stay informed on advancements in ultrasound imaging techniques and practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
• Preference for completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program

Required Certifications

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
