Intake Specialist / Front Desk Intake Specialist / Office Assistant Location: Milwaukee and Waukesha, WI Employment Type: Try-Before-Hire ABR is recruiting an Intake Specialist / Office Assistant for a non-profit organization located in Milwaukee and Waukesha, WI. This is a try-before-hire opportunity for an individual with exceptional customer service skills, strong administrative abilities, and a genuine passion for helping others. The Intake Specialist / Office Assistant will work directly with clients and their families to assess eligibility for benefits while providing administrative and office support. Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday: 8:00 a.m. 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, Thursday: 8:30 a.m. 6:00 p.m. Occasional weekend overtime may be available but is not required Wage: $19.00 per hour (higher rate available for bilingual candidates) Qualifications: Strong compassion for others and outstanding customer service skills Excellent administrative and office support abilities Prior non-profit experience preferred Ability to remain calm and effective in emergency situations Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively Bilingual skills in English, Hmong, or Spanish are a plus (and do offer an increase in starting pay!)
