Responsibilities
- Deliver coordinated nursing care to a patient population in the emergency department according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for an assigned group of patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed; monitor patient responses and adjust care as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians and interprofessional team members to coordinate care across disciplines.
- Supervise and direct the activities of various levels of assigned nursing staff as applicable; exercise professional judgment and critical thinking.
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely; maintain patient safety and quality of care throughout the shift.

Requirements
- Active RN license in California (or eligibility to practice in California)
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current RN licensure
- ER or acute care nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work evenings in a high-acuity emergency department environment
- Basic life support (BLS) certification may be required per program standards (verification to be confirmed)
