Job Location Cherry Hill, NJ (2059 Springdale Rd, 08003), Egg Harbor Township, NJ (2819 Fire Rd, 08234), King of Prussia, PA (555 Croton Rd, Suite 401, 19406) About RVE (Ardurra) RVE (an Ardurra company) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our team in Cherry Hill, Egg Harbor and/or King of Prussia, PA Maintaining and upgrading buildings poses an ongoing challenge for clients who need to keep their facilities and systems operating safely, reliably and cost-effectively. The foundation of our design approach is energy savings, including finding alternative energy sources when viable. Our professionals bring together engineering and strong economic and management principles to design and upgrade heating, air conditioning, ventilation and other systems for our K-12, higher education, healthcare, hospitality and industrial clients as part of new construction or renovation projects. Our staff has expertise in wind, solar, geothermal and combined heat and power (cogeneration) technologies. We also provide professional program management, facility wide energy audits and analysis, assessments, design, construction management and administration services for public transportation infrastructure to numerous transportation authorities and serve as Engineer of Record for nearly 50 Boards of Education in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. Primary Function The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power distribution, lighting, and fire alarm systems design for educational, commercial, and industrial facilities. This is a leadership-level role with responsibility for managing complex projects and mentoring junior staff while collaborating across disciplines to deliver high-quality engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have approximately 5 to 15 years of experience in electrical design and project management. Primary Duties Support and lead the design and development of electrical systems for large-scale commercial, industrial, institutional, healthcare, and educational projects. Apply design expertise in power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems, fire alarms, and equipment selection/specification. Act as Project Manager for electrical components of multi-discipline projects, including schedule, budget, client communication, and team coordination. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and designers. Analyze complex electrical engineering problems and propose effective solutions. Interface with architects, civil and MEP engineers, project managers, and clients to ensure design coordination and project success. Oversee and ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards including NEC, IBC, IECC, and NFPA. Perform quality control reviews of electrical drawings and specifications. Conduct field investigations and site visits as needed. Perform other duties as assigned in support of the department’s growth and success. Education and Experience Requirements Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline required. PE license required or the ability to pursue one. Ability to clarify and concisely express thoughts verbally and in written correspondence/reports/specifications. Provides effort and takes pride in all work assignments produced. Not afraid to ask for guidance/assistance in order to expedite the date of assignment deliverables. Ability to simultaneously work on group and individual assignments. Must have effective communication, management and writing skills. Must be skilled in the use of Word/Excel products. Salary Range $92,000.00 To $151,800.00 Annually Why Ardurra?
