Software Engineer Technical Lead

Salary: $115,000 - 180,000 per year Requirements:

• We prefer familiarity with Agile delivery, source control, CI/CD tools, automation tools, containerization, and cloud-native deployment practices.

• Experience with insurance and reinsurance systems and data is highly relevant.
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals, operating systems, and application infrastructure is important.

• We collaborate with Agile, product, analysis, and architecture partners to shape solutions and ensure alignment with engineering standards.
• We split our time between hands-on development and technical leadership, mentoring, and team coordination.
• We design, code, review, test, support, troubleshoot, and automate software solutions.
• We provide technical guidance across Agile teams and keep stakeholders informed on progress, risks, and dependencies.
• We recommend efficient approaches to meet project and program goals.
• We identify, communicate, and reduce engineering risks proactively.
• We coordinate with other teams to manage interdependencies and resolve issues.
• We support business units with complex user questions and production incidents while following support procedures and service levels.
• We contribute to product roadmaps, estimates, standards, guidelines, processes, and templates.
• We coach engineers, provide feedback, and support technical growth and career development.
• We lead or join technical discussions, design reviews, and stakeholder meetings to align architecture and delivery.
• We spot gaps in engineering workflows and drive continuous improvement efforts.
