Job Details We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent OR Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities Provide pre‑ and postoperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures. Administer medications as prescribed by physicians and monitor patients for any adverse reactions. Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, taking into consideration their specific needs and goals. Educate patients and their families about postoperative care, including pain management strategies and potential complications. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Respond to emergencies promptly and effectively, demonstrating sound decision‑making skills and a commitment to patient safety. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. Continually update clinical knowledge and skills through professional development activities. Qualifications Must hold a current TX State RN License. A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, preferably within an operating room setting. Demonstrated proficiency in medication administration, care planning, patient and family education, pain management, and postoperative nursing care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient‑centered approach to care. Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Demonstrated commitment to maintaining the highest standards of nursing practice. Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. BLS and ACLS certification preferred. Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
