You will be the Production Operations Lead (Level 4) for the Production Operations team. Our team is responsible for leading Production Operations activities across the IAMD LEED program and other initiatives within the NKAD portfolio. What You Will Be Doing As the Production Operations Lead (Level 4) you will be responsible for driving cost, schedule, and quality performance while shaping production strategy for prototyping and development hardware builds. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Drive cost, schedule, and quality performance for prototyping and development hardware builds.
• Develop and implement production strategies and transition plans.
• Support capital, capacity, and facility project planning to enable rapid fielding.
• Champion design-for-manufacturability, affordability, and producibility across programs.
• Coordinate with Advanced Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Finance, and Program Management to align strategy and execution.

Basic Qualifications: - Bachelors Degree from an accredited college - Candidate must have the ability to obtain a Secret clearance - Production Site or Manufacturing experience - Experience with SAP / ERP systems - Possess appropriate business acumen to successfully present cases to variety of internal customers - Demonstrated skills in team building and leading through influence, as the position requires cross functional interactions on a daily basis - Willingness to travel 20% of the time Desired Skills: - Good written and verbal communication skills - Experience managing and contributing to design for producibility and affordability initiatives - Results oriented behavior - Clear understanding of LM production processes - Advanced engineering/technical or business related degree - Transition to Production / development experience - Cost Account Management (CAM) experience Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration. Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process. Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
