This opportunity is ideal for an RN comfortable caring for patients across a broad range of ages and clinical needs.\n **Requirements:**\n • **Minimum 3 years of RN experience required**\n • Graduate of an **NLN-approved nursing program**\n • Active, unrestricted **Alaska RN License**\n • Current **BLS certification**\n • Must successfully complete and maintain required competencies\n • Strong assessment, clinical judgment, and critical-thinking skills\n • Basic **EKG** skills\n • Strong medication administration and patient-care skills\n • Excellent communication and documentation skills\n • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing clinical needs\n • Must be comfortable caring for patients from **birth through elderly populations**\n • Cultural awareness and ability to provide age-appropriate care\n • **COVID vaccination documentation required**\n **Assignment Details:**\n • **13-week contract**\n • **Day shifts**\n • **32 guaranteed hours/week**\n • No holiday coverage required\n • **No call**\n • **1 position available**\n • W-2 employment only\n • Housing provided\n • Private bedroom with shared common areas\n • Travel to/from the assignment is initially arranged by the traveler/agency and reimbursed at base airfare\n **Clinical Responsibilities:**\n • Perform comprehensive patient assessments\n • Develop nursing diagnoses and individualized care plans\n • Implement and evaluate nursing interventions\n • Provide care across the continuum from pediatric to geriatric patients\n • Administer medications and treatments safely\n • Interpret diagnostic tests and monitor patient conditions\n • Perform basic EKG procedures\n • Provide patient and family education\n • Document all patient-care activities accurately\n • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals\n • Coordinate and direct nursing care\n • Apply appropriate age-specific and culturally sensitive care\n • Maintain patient safety and infection-control standards\n • Serve as a clinical resource when needed\n • Supervise unit secretaries and Patient Care Technicians in collaboration with the Charge Nurse\n CloudinfraIT Inc Job ID #299168.
