Part-Time Program Instructor Location: Lancaster, PA Position Type: Part-Time (10-15 hours/week) Pay Range: $15-$18/hour Help Kids Build Confidence Through Hands-On Learning Are you energetic, reliable, and passionate about working with kids? Snapology of Lancaster is looking for a Part-Time Program Instructor to lead engaging, hands-on programs that inspire children to build, create, collaborate, and solve problems. This is a great opportunity for college students, education majors, substitute teachers, paraprofessionals, homeschool parents, retirees, or anyone looking for meaningful part-time work with a consistent weekly schedule . If you enjoy making a positive impact while having fun, we'd love to meet you! Schedule Approximately 10-15 hours per week over four afternoons/evenings. Typical working hours fall between 2:30 PM and 8:30 PM , with most shifts occurring between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM . A consistent weekly schedule will be established, with minor adjustments possible based on program enrollment, seasonal programming, and special events. Enjoy a consistent weekly schedule with opportunities to earn additional hours through field trips, birthday parties, camps, Saturday programs, and special events. What You'll Do Lead Engaging Programs: Teach fun, hands-on STEM/STEAM enrichment classes using Snapology's provided curriculum , LEGO® Bricks, robotics, and other interactive learning tools. No lesson planning required—we provide the curriculum, training, and materials you need to be successful. Inspire Young Builders: Create a positive, inclusive environment where children build confidence, creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving skills through hands-on learning. Facilitate Memorable Experiences: Lead after-school programs at the Snapology center and local schools, adapting your instruction to engage children ages 4-14 while ensuring every child feels included and encouraged. Represent Snapology: Build positive relationships with children, families, and school partners while maintaining a safe, organized, and welcoming learning environment. Prepare & Wrap Up: Set up program materials before classes and clean up afterward so each learning space is ready for the next group.
