Houseperson - Home2 Suites

Are you someone who takes pride in keeping spaces clean, organized, and welcoming for guests? Home2 Suites by Hilton is seeking a dependable and hardworking Houseperson to support our housekeeping and hotel operations teams.

In this full-time, year-round role, you will help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of public spaces throughout the property, ensuring guests have a comfortable and welcoming experience from the moment they arrive. From keeping common areas clean and stocked to assisting with housekeeping support tasks, you will play an important role in maintaining Hilton brand standards and supporting overall hotel operations.

Position Details:

Schedule: Full-Time, Year-Round

Shifts: Vary and may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain public areas including the lobby, hallways, elevators, restrooms, breakfast area, fitness center, and exterior entrances
• Ensure public spaces remain clean, stocked, and organized throughout the day
• Assist housekeeping team members with linen delivery, trash removal, and supply restocking
• Respond promptly to guest and team member requests as needed
• Maintain cleanliness standards in accordance with Hilton brand expectations
• Monitor laundry supplies and report equipment issues or maintenance concerns as needed
• Rotate into laundry duties on scheduled days, including washing, drying, folding, sorting, and organizing linens, towels, and other hotel laundry while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the laundry area
  
• Assist with deep cleaning projects and seasonal cleaning tasks
• Remove trash and recyclables from public and service areas
• Report maintenance concerns or safety issues to the appropriate department
• Help maintain storage and housekeeping areas in a clean and organized manner
• Support overall hotel operations by assisting other departments when needed

Skills & Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping, janitorial, or hotel experience preferred, but not required
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, dependable, and guest-focused mindset
• Ability to stay organized and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, bending, and pushing carts for extended periods
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
• Positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed

Success in this role will be measured by cleanliness standards, public area appearance, response time to guest and team needs, operational support, and contribution to an exceptional guest experience.
