Position Summary Coram/CVS Health is looking for a high-energy healthcare professional to join our National team as a Authorization Specialist! This rewarding opportunity allows you to work closely with our Patient Intake coordinators and insurance providers. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year experience working in a customer service or call center environment. Data entry experience. Experience working in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Outlook and Word. Experience working in a healthcare environment. Experience working with healthcare insurance verification or obtaining medical authorizations. Experience with specialty infusion medications. Preferred Qualifications Experience with claim/call center environment. Technical skills. Problem solving skills Negotiation skills. Well organized. Prioritises tasks effectively. Solid written and oral communication skills. Education Verifiable High School Diploma or GED is required. Anticipated Weekly Hours 40 Time Type Full time Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $31.30 This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. Our people fuel our future.
