Our client is a dynamic and well-established civil litigation firm headquartered in downtown Los Angeles with satellite offices in Las Vegas, Nevada and Phoenix, Arizona. Our client is hiring for the following open positions:

• Associate Attorney: 5 to 7 years of experience: Casualty, Professional Liability & Business Litigation Practice Group

Must possess strong analytical, research and writing skills; be a self-starter with a commitment to providing superior service to clients, producing high-quality work product, and maintaining a teamwork atmosphere.
Must be eligible to practice law in California and reside in Southern California, although the position allows for the flexibility of a hybrid workspace.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as Westlaw to support case preparation.

• Draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents with precision and attention to detail.

• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in court hearings and trials.

• Collaborate with senior attorneys to develop case strategies and prepare for litigation.

• Manage case files, ensuring all documentation is organized and up-to-date.

• Communicate effectively with clients to provide updates on case progress and address any concerns.

• Stay informed about changes in laws relevant to practice areas.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the bar in the relevant jurisdiction (California).

• Strong knowledge of civil litigation processes and procedures.

• Proficient in legal research tools such as Westlaw.

• Exceptional negotiation skills with the ability to advocate effectively for clients.

• Strong analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
