Shower Glass Installer

Allied Glass - Cedar Rapids, Hiawatha, IA 52233, USA Load and unload glass panels as required by project needs Fabricating aluminum window frames, cutting & installing glass materials. Read and interpret plans. Interface with customers and project managers. Comply with company process, policies, and safety protocols always Measure, cut and fabricate glass according to client specifications. Ensure accuracy and precision in all fabrication process What you’ll need to have: Install glass shower enclosures according to client preferences and design specifications Proficiency in handling and installing tempered glass panels for shower enclosures of various sizes and configurations Knowledge of specialized hardware and fixtures required for installation Stay updated on industry trends and best practices related to glass shower enclosure materials High school diploma or equivalent A valid driver’s license and acceptable insurability for regular business travel Ability to lift 80 lbs. Construction or home building experience preferred but we will train those with a genuine interest in learning a new trade Ability to read blueprints and take measurements with a tape measure Great attendance record Ability to work alone and with others, which includes co-workers and project management staff. Work Location: Waterloo / Cedar Falls location (75 mile radius outside the area).
