In this full-time, onsite contract role, you'll have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of neurodiverse learners while working in a supportive school community. The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 3:30pm, offering up to 40 hours each week to make a direct difference for a caseload of 15-18 students.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current licensure to teach Adapted Curriculum Special Education
• Prior experience working with middle and/or high school students preferred
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Ability to develop and implement individualized educational plans (IEPs)
• Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to inclusive education principles

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specially designed instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals
• Adapt curriculum materials and teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, therapists, and support staff
• Maintain accurate progress records, assessments, and documentation
• Foster a welcoming and supportive classroom environment
• Engage with parents/guardians to share student progress and strategies for success
