Position Details Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/30/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 10 hours, days Employment Type: Travel We are looking for an Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR Tech) for an immediate travel opening in Wichita, KS. The right IR Tech should have 1 year of recent acute care experience. Read below for additional requirements. Responsibilities Operate fluoroscopic equipment and assist physicians with minimally invasive, image‑guided procedures. Prepare patients for procedures and observe patients during interventions. Report abnormal activity and maintain accurate patient records. Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients. Assist in scrubbing all diagnostic and interventional procedures. Monitor patient during all procedures. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of radiation protection standards, devices, and techniques to assure adequate safeguards for patient and operator exposure. Demonstrate knowledge of physiology and anatomy to interpret examination requests accurately. Operate intravenous (I.V.) and dye injector pumps. Use the McKesson PACS system. Requirements Must have 1 year of experience. Must have BLS, ACLS, and ARRT (R) National Certification and state‑specific licensing when required. Vascular Interventional certificate preferred.
