Associate Attorney Evictions

Job Overview A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney for its Evictions practice in Roswell, GA. The attorney will manage a caseload across Georgia, working closely with support staff. Experience in landlord/tenant evictions is preferred, but recent law graduates and newly barred attorneys are encouraged to apply. Additional licensure in other states or Louisiana is advantageous. The role requires court appearances in metro-Atlanta and occasionally statewide, with travel expenses reimbursed. Direct client communication is essential, and the position requires three days in the office. Duties Handle all aspects of eviction cases in Georgia. Attend court hearings and prepare necessary documentation. Conduct legal research and draft reports and correspondence. Manage caseload and assist staff with inquiries. Perform additional duties as needed. Requirements Knowledge of landlord/tenant laws is a bonus. Ability to analyze case law and provide recommendations. Professional appearance and positive public image. Education Juris Doctor degree required. Certifications Bar admission in Georgia required. Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
