Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Day Shift (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) | 12-Hour Shifts | Expected 36 hours/week following the first week of orientation

Key Responsibilities

• Float between multiple medical and surgical units including a Medical Unit, a Surgical Acute Unit, and a Cardiovascular Unit
• Deliver direct patient care in accordance with unit-specific nurse-to-patient ratios (Medical 1:6 days/eves; Surgical Acute 1:6; Cardiovascular 1:4)
• Operate and manage unit equipment including Meditech EMR, Pyxis, wound vacs, and chest tubes
• Adhere to unit-specific orientation and training programs upon assignment to each unit
• Maintain professional nursing attire (clean scrubs) and comply with all facility dress code standards
• Provide documented proof of immunity - medical and religious exemption requests will not be accepted in lieu of documented immunity

• Active State of Hawaii RN License required by start of assignment (candidates not currently holding an active HI license must apply upon acceptance of offer)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience (up to 10 years preferred)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required

• PALS certification
• Procedural Sedation certification
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
• ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification

• Gain diverse clinical experience by floating across medical, surgical acute, and cardiovascular units in a dynamic hospital setting
• Unit-specific orientation is provided, supporting a smooth transition and setting travelers up for success from day one
