Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for individuals, using standardized tools and clinical interviews to inform the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Facilitate therapeutic sessions with individuals, couples, and families, employing diverse therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness practices tailored to unique client situations.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of session notes, client progress, and treatment outcomes in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring continuity of care.

• Stay current with best practices and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, as needed, to enhance holistic care for clients and share resources or referrals.

• Uphold client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA regulations and demonstrate professionalism in all communications.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, you will work with a diverse group of clients facing an array of issues, including anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, trauma, and life transitions. Our client population ranges from young adults to seniors, each with unique needs requiring individualized care strategies. The flexibility of telehealth allows us to reach clients who may benefit from mental health services but face barriers to in-person visits.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey.

• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in providing counseling services, demonstrating effective therapeutic techniques and relationship-building skills.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to create a trusting environment conducive to open dialogue with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
