Respiratory Therapist

Overview The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory and pulmonary therapy, management, and rehabilitation under the direction of a doctor. The Respiratory Therapist treats conditions that affect the pulmonary system and helps patients who are having trouble breathing from infants to the elderly in a variety of health care settings. Minimum Requirements Current Respiratory Therapist Certification or Registration for the state in which he/she practices One year of respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred Current CPR if applicable TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation) Must meet all federal, state and local requirements Must be at least 18 years of age Compliance & Ethics Expectations Benefits Competitive pay & weekly paychecks Health, dental, vision, and life insurance 401(k) savings plan Awards and recognition programs Benefit eligibility is dependent on employment status.
