Personal BankerThe Personal Banker is responsible for generating business and deepening relationships by promoting products and services to potential and existing customers. Responsibilities include providing high quality customer service while achieving sales goals and supporting banking center staff as needed.Duties will include, but are not limited to, the following:Greet customers and facilitate a welcoming and customer-focused environmentProvide extraordinary customer service while achieving goals and supporting the banking center staff as neededBuild and maintain relationships with customers to help identify financial products and services that meet their needsPromote financial products and servicesOpen deposit accounts and take loan applications, process consumer loan/credit line requests for customersProcess customer transactions efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a balanced cash drawer and adhering to internal controls and proceduresGenerate new business and expand relationships with current customers through networking and Centers of InfluenceRespond to customer inquiries and concerns and create positive solutionsSupport other employees as neededThis list includes the current primary responsibilities of this position. It is not intended to be all-inclusive and is subject to change, as needed, for the purpose of operational efficiency.Required Skills:Minimum of one year successful sales experience in an incentive-driven or relational selling environment; demonstrated performance in meeting and exceeding goalsMinimum of 6 months cash handling and/or Point of Sale (POS) transaction experience in a retail sales or food industry environmentMust have a current Notary or be willing to become one (pursue application, bond and notary seal) at the Bank's expense.Ability to generate referrals including making on-site visits with local businessesAbility to work effectively as a team member and with customersStrong work ethic and high integrityProficient with all Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook, Excel etc.)Friendly, outgoing, assertive, confident, and enthusiastic personalityPreferred Skills:Successful sales record in a retail banking environment; with knowledge of bank services and products.Bilingual (fluent verbal and written Spanish) skillsPhysical Requirements:This position requires long periods of standing or sitting as well as typing and repetitive motion.
