NOW HIRING – PIPEFITTER
Tampa, FL 33602 (Downtown Tampa) We are currently hiring an experienced Pipefitter Mechanic for a commercial renovation project Downtown Tampa. Must have experience with Copper , chiller hookups, copper piping, and welding. We are looking for someone who can work independently, read plans, and help complete a high-profile project safely and efficiently. Position DetailsLocation: Tampa, FL 33602 (Downtown)
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Hours: 40+ Hours Per Week
Pay Rate: $28.00 - $31.00 Per Hour (Based on Experience) Job Responsibilities
- Install, modify, and repair piping systems for HVAC and mechanical equipment
- Assist with chiller installation, piping, and equipment hookups
- Install, braze, and connect copper piping systems
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications
- Perform tack welding and assist with fabrication as needed
- Install supports, hangers, valves, and mechanical components
- Work alongside HVAC technicians and other trades to complete project milestones
- Follow all OSHA and jobsite safety requirements
Qualifications
- Pipefitting experience required
- HVAC mechanical experience required
- Chiller installation and hookup experience required
- Copper piping and brazing experience
- Tack welding experience
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
- Commercial construction experience preferred
- Reliable transportation and basic hand tools required
