Boulevard Theatres is looking for energetic, reliable, and service-minded individuals to join our Kitchen Team. Our Kitchen Team Members are responsible for preparing fresh, high-quality food with speed and care while maintaining a clean and safe work environment. If you have a passion for great food and creating memorable guest experiences, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items following approved recipes, portions, and presentation standards.
- Deliver excellent guest service by ensuring accuracy, quality, and speed of orders.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including prep stations, equipment, and storage areas.
- Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation guidelines in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including proper rotation (FIFO) and stock levels.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Support the Front of House team to ensure smooth operations before, during, and after showtimes.
- Participate in ongoing training and development, including food safety certification.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous kitchen, food service, or restaurant experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Basic math skills for portioning and recipe measurements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay calm under pressure.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
- Regularly lift up to 50–60 lbs.
- Ability to bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
- At least 18 years old
- Ability to respond to visual and audible cues
- Read, write, speak and understand English
- Ability to work around hot items
