Wildlife Specialist

Position Overview LOCATION: North Carolina PROJECT LENGTH: 6‑9 months

TRAVEL COSTS COVERED; PER DIEM PROVIDED

ON‑CALL POSITION: You can expect to return home at least once per month Job Duties Successfully contribute to all aspects of vegetation management planning and analysis. Perform general wildlife management activities including habitat management, native seeding, food plot development, and invasive species management. General area maintenance involving mowing, hand tools, chainsaws, and/or trimmers. Safe operation of all equipment. Qualifications Authorization to work in the U.S. Current U.S. driver’s license with clean driving record. Love of the outdoors and ability to work and hike in rugged terrain and inclement weather. Ability to identify plant and wildlife species in the eastern United States. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology, animal ecology, or closely related field. Pre‑employment drug screen (marijuana included) and background check required.
