Position Overview In this position, the Vehicle Thermal Systems Hydraulic CAE and Development section is responsible for analyzing the engine cooling system in both CAE/CFD and lab validation. Responsibilities Use various CFD methods to quantify component hardware and system level design impacts on engine performance, fuel consumption, emissions, NVH, system level hydraulic response, and durability to help drive the engine / Powertrain design and address issues that arise during the engine / Powertrain development process. Conduct specific studies that may include cooling system flow predictions, system layout and component selection, and coolant fill‑deaeration.
