Production Lead - 1st Shift

The Production Lead is responsible for supporting daily production operations in a fast-paced, multi-temperature environment. This hands‑on leadership role oversees workflow coordination, employee support, training, productivity, and quality while ensuring all safety and operational standards are met. The Production Lead works directly alongside team members to maintain efficient operations and achieve daily production goals. Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Lead daily production floor operations in a multi-temperature environment, including refrigerated and freezer areas ranging from -10°F to 40°F Coordinate workflow and staffing assignments to ensure production goals, deadlines, and quality standards are achieved Monitor productivity and operational performance using WMS reports and production tracking systems Provide hands‑on support, troubleshooting, coaching, and direction to production associates throughout the shift Conduct daily start‑up meetings to communicate goals, safety expectations, and operational updates Train and cross‑train employees on production processes, procedures, and safety standards Assist with documenting process updates and supporting continuous improvement initiatives Foster a positive and respectful team environment through strong communication, accountability, and employee engagement Work directly on the production floor performing manual labor and production tasks as needed Ensure compliance with all company safety, security, food safety, and SQF requirements Maintain professionalism, dependable attendance, and a strong commitment to operational excellence Perform additional duties and support other departments as assigned What We’re Looking For Hands‑on leader with a strong work ethic Positive attitude and team‑first mentality Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to motivate employees and drive productivity Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement Required High school diploma or GED equivalent Minimum 2 years of leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience in a production, manufacturing, distribution, or food production environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to lead by example Ability to read and follow labels, processes, procedures, and work instructions Basic math and problem‑solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced production environment Preferred Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) SAP experience preferred Previous experience working in food production, cold storage, or temperature‑controlled environments Physical Requirements Ability to work in temperatures ranging from -10°F to 40°F Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during 8–10 hour shifts Frequent bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, and reaching Ability to lift up to 30 lbs continuously and up to 50 lbs occasionally 1-800-FLOWERS.COM, INC Participates in E-Verify, for more information: Click Here EEO is the Law #J-18808-Ljbffr RadNet, Inc.
