RN - Psychiatric (Travel) Job Summary
Location: Enid, Oklahoma

Specialty: Psychiatric RN (Adult & Geriatric Behavioral Health)

Shift: 12-hour Nights (3×12s, variable days)

Hours: 36 hours/week

Contract Length: Approximately 29.7 weeks (1,068 total hours)

On-Call: None

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of Psychiatric/Behavioral Health RN experience
Minimum 1 year of Travel RN experience
ctive RN License
BLS certification
CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
Must reside more than 100 miles from the facility

Patient Population

dult Psychiatric
Geriatric Psychiatric

Key Responsibilities

ssess, plan, implement, and evaluate psychiatric nursing care.
Perform comprehensive physical and psychosocial assessments.
Monitor mental status, behavioral changes, and patient safety.
dminister medications and monitor therapeutic responses.
Provide patient and family education.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
Document accurately and participate in SBAR handoffs.
ssist with discharge planning and continuity of care.
Maintain compliance with quality, safety, and infection control standards.
Serve as charge nurse or preceptor when assigned.
