Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Manpower is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Shipping & Receiving Associate to join our team in Sterling Heights. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, verifying shipments, preparing outgoing orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Title: Shipping & Receiving Clerk

Location: Sterling Heights

Pay Range: $18.00 to $22.00

What’s the Job?

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against packing slips and purchase orders.

• Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment.

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.

• Accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation.

• Maintain inventory accuracy through proper storage and tracking of materials.

• Organize warehouse areas and keep workspaces clean and safe.

What’s Needed?

• Previous shipping and receiving or warehouse experience preferred.

• Forklift experience and certification are a plus.

• Ability to read shipping documents and packing slips.

• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory systems preferred.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand, walk, and bend throughout the shift.
