Registered Nurse - Operating Room

Conduct thorough assessments, implement care plans, and monitor patient progress. Administer psychotropic medications and provide education regarding their effects and side effects. Coordinate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care. Encourage patient engagement in therapeutic activities and group sessions. Requirements Qualifications: Candidates must possess a valid, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license, with a minimum of two years of mental health nursing experience. BLS and/or ACLS certifications are required. Recent experience (worked within the last 6 months). Comfortable with 12-hour shifts (days/nights, rotating weekends). EMR proficiency is also necessary, and applicants must be U.S. Citizens or hold a Green Card. Any U.S. State RN License in good standing in this field is accepted. This is a local, on-site opportunity in Charleston, SC supporting a long-term (5-year) federal healthcare contract.
