About the Role US Foods Driver positions are responsible for safely driving trucks to customers, unloading products, verifying deliveries, handling collections, providing customer service, and performing pre‑ and post‑trip inspections. Responsibilities Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times. Unload products from the trailer using a two‑wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place them in designated customer storage areas. Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures. Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable. Perform customer service responsibilities to enhance the client experience. Perform all pre‑trip and post‑trip equipment inspections. Schedule Monday – Saturday 3‑6am dispatch, 5 days per week with the option for a 4‑day work week. Qualifications Must be at least 21 years old. Must have a valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications. Minimum of six months of commercial driving experience in any industry OR three months in the food and/or beverage delivery industry. Must be able to register in the FMCSA Clearinghouse. Ability to operate a manual transmission (preferred; may be required in specific locations). Must be able to read, speak, and write English. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. repetitively during each shift. Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather with frequent stops (10+ per shift). Overtime compensation available. Weekly pay.
