You'll own opportunities from the first conversation through signature, working alongside the platform field team, and you'll be the person clients call when they need someone who understands both the commercial and technical shape of a lakehouse program. The work is consultative. These are services engagements, not license resale motions, so the conversation starts with a business problem and ends with a scoped program backed by a delivery team. What You Will Own New business and expansion pursuits for implementation, migration, and platform modernization work Joint pipeline development with account executives, partner managers, and alliance teams Discovery and qualification with data, analytics, and engineering leaders, then translating what you hear into scoped services proposals Proposal and SOW development in partnership with solution architects and delivery leads Forecast accuracy and clean pipeline management across a defined territory or account set Account planning for a small number of strategic logos, including multi-year expansion paths Voice-of-market feedback into service offerings and go-to-market positioning Qualifications 8+ years selling data, analytics, or AI services, with at least 3 in a consulting or services environment Demonstrated quota attainment on services deals in the $250K to $2M range Direct experience selling into or alongside a major cloud data platform ecosystem, including co-sell motions with partner and field teams Fluency in the commercial shape of lakehouse programs, including migration off legacy warehouses, platform consolidation, governance, and AI enablement Comfort presenting to CDOs, VPs of Data, and CIOs without a solution architect in the room A track record of building pipeline from scratch rather than inheriting it Preferred Exposure to adjacent data platform and transformation tools in competitive or complementary positioning Experience at a top-tier ecosystem partner Background selling in regulated industries such as financial services or healthcare Logistics Fully remote within the US. Moderate travel for client meetings, partner events, and quarterly business reviews. Compensation OTE $250K to $300K, base plus variable.
