Construction Coordinator

Job OverviewWe are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Construction Project Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and project coordination, with experience in utilizing various construction management software. This role is crucial in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within scope, and in compliance with all contractual obligations. All duties and tasks are assigned and directed by the PM. The main objective is to deliver the necessary support to the PM, ensuring that every aspect of the project scope is completed within the established timeline, under the designated budget.ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and other customer to facilitate effective communication and project execution.Utilize construction management software and google sheets for project scheduling and documentation.Prepare and review construction estimates, contracts, and change orders to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications.Monitor project progress, identifying potential issues or delays and implementing solutions as necessary.Maintain organized records of project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and correspondence.Conduct site visits to assess progress and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.Manage time effectively to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.SkillsPredict the resources required to achieve project objectives and oversee their effective and efficient management.Manage the job. This includes tracking expenses, tracking project budgets, and updating financial information.Assist with project management activities, ensuring compliance, managing resources, and monitoring project progress to guarantee timely completion and adherence to budget constraints.Provide consistent project updates to customers, management, and employees, regarding strategy, necessary adjustments, and overall progress.Manage materials, rentals, hotels and all necessary items needed to complete projects.Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.Develop and manage a comprehensive project schedule and work plan.Strong understanding of construction estimating principles and practices.Excellent project scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Solid knowledge of contracts related to construction projects.Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and customers.Previous experience in construction site operations is highly desirable.Familiarity with project management methodologies will be an advantage.
