The role requires working in a full-service, acute-care hospital. The facility is licensed for 220 beds and provides various medical specialties. It employs over 700 staff members and has more than 100 physicians and allied health professionals. The nursing unit cares for patients of all ages and offers comprehensive surgical services. The environment includes 24-hour emergency services and specialized rehabilitation services. The successful candidate must demonstrate the ability to work effectively in a stressful environment. Common diagnoses and treatments will include post-operative orthopedic procedures and total joint surgeries. The position requires the ability to take appropriate action in critical situations and maintain continuity of patient care. The dress code requires appropriate scrub attire with no specific color requirements stated. Work-related responsibilities may require occasional travel within a 25-mile radius of the facility.
