Position Summary Tampa Family Health Centers is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Credentialing & Enrollment Manager to lead and optimize provider credentialing and payer enrollment operations across the organization. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the full lifecycle of provider credentialing, enrollment, recredentialing, and regulatory compliance to ensure providers are accurately enrolled, reimbursement is uninterrupted, and organizational standards are maintained. The Credentialing & Enrollment Manager partners closely with Revenue Cycle, Human Resources, Clinical Leadership, and external payers to support operational success and provider readiness. Essential Responsibilities Credentialing & Enrollment Oversight
• Manage the full credentialing and recredentialing lifecycle for all providers
• Oversee payer enrollment applications and delegated credentialing agreements
• Maintain accurate provider records within credentialing databases including CAQH and payer portals
• Monitor licenses, certifications, registrations, and other provider credentials to ensure timely renewals
• Track enrollment status and resolve credentialing issues to prevent reimbursement delays
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle and Billing teams to support clean claims and timely reimbursement Compliance & Regulatory Excellence
• Ensure compliance with CMS, NCQA, HIPAA, HRSA, and payer requirements
• Maintain credentialing files and documentation in accordance with accreditation standards
• Respond to payer audits, documentation requests, and regulatory inquiries
• Develop and implement credentialing policies, procedures, and workflow improvements
• Ensure provider data integrity and confidentiality standards are maintained Leadership & Operational Performance
• Supervise, mentor, and develop credentialing and enrollment staff
• Provide coaching, training, and performance feedback to team members
• Establish and monitor KPIs related to credentialing timeliness, enrollment completion, and compliance metrics
• Generate operational reports and present credentialing trends and performance updates
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement workflow enhancements
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and service excellence across departments Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of healthcare credentialing and payer enrollment experience required
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred
• Experience working within an FQHC or healthcare organization strongly preferred Skills & Abilities
• Strong knowledge of provider credentialing standards and payer enrollment requirements
• Experience with delegated credentialing agreements and payer contracting processes
• Familiarity with healthcare billing, reimbursement, and revenue cycle operations
• Proficiency with credentialing platforms such as CAQH, Qgenda, and Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of CMS, NCQA, HIPAA, and healthcare regulatory requirements
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced healthcare environment
