Job Title Patient Support Associate Department & Location MFS Operating Room, Millard Fillmore Suburban – US: NY: Williamsville Job Description This position, under the general supervision of the RN or Transport Manager, is responsible for environmental, inventory, dietary, transportation, limited clerical and patient comfort duties. Performs computer input. Participates in patient care activities as assigned. Participates in quality improvement activities. Implements the philosophy, objectives, policies and standards of Kaleida Health within the patient‑centered care program and Kaleida as a whole. Responsibilities Environmental maintenance Inventory management Dietary support Transportation assistance Limited clerical tasks Patient comfort duties Computer input Participation in patient care activities as assigned Participation in quality improvement activities Qualifications High school diploma or equivalency required Ability to properly communicate information obtained from patients Ability to implement high standards of care within the confinements of the position Ability to maintain composure and effectiveness in stressful situations Ability to safely handle and utilize various pieces of equipment used in the course of the position Minimum one year in a customer‑service focused position (for Centralized Transport Department) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written Working Conditions Standard Hours: Bi‑Weekly 45.00 FTE 0.60 Weekend/Holiday Requirement: No On Call Required: No With Rotation: Work Arrangement: Onsite Union Code: U10 - SEIU 1199 Millard Svc & Maint Requisition ID#: 16908 Grade: S4 Compensation Pay Frequency: Bi‑Weekly.
