You will join a stable manufacturing operation that has secured a long-term government contract, providing strong job security through at least 2026–2027. The facility offers a first-shift schedule, allowing for more predictable work-life balance. You will work in a clean, well-organized environment with clear processes and defined work areas, alongside a team of experienced professionals. The organization continues to grow and invest in its operations, creating opportunities to build valuable skills in material handling, manufacturing, and government contract work.
Work Environment
This role is based in a manufacturing plant that produces trailers for military use under a large government contract. The facility is clean and well lit, with tall ceilings and clearly defined areas, including machining and fabrication, assembly, and a paint shop. The assembly area is organized into cells where trailers are built. The plant is heated in the winter but not air conditioned in the summer, so it can become warm during hotter months. Noise levels vary, with some areas experiencing intermittent noise from air tools, though it is not consistently loud throughout the facility. The plant employs approximately 100 people and currently operates only on first shift, with typical hours of 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and overtime as needed. The role involves regular use of forklifts and other material handling equipment, as well as computer systems for documenting materials.
