Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Printer Support Technician to provide printer and end-user support at a large aerospace manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting approximately 200 printers on-site while assisting with the broader North American printer environment.

This role involves printer installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting, along with Level 1 and Level 2 IT support. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting large printer fleets in manufacturing, industrial, or enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Support and maintain approximately 200 printers across the aerospace manufacturing site and assist with printer support across North America.
Perform printer installations, deployments, configurations, replacements, and related setup activities.
Diagnose and resolve printer hardware, connectivity, and end-user issues.
Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, escalating complex issues to Xerox Level 3 support when required.
Deliver technical support to end users across Line 1, Line 2, and associated facilities.
Coordinate with internal teams, stakeholders, and service providers to ensure timely issue resolution.
Track support requests, maintain accurate asset inventories, and update technical documentation.
Follow established IT support procedures and ticketing processes to ensure efficient service delivery.

Required Qualifications

2+ years of experience in IT Support, Desktop Support, Printer Support, or Field Support.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting printers, end-user devices, and basic network connectivity issues.
Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and replacing printers.
Prior experience supporting large printer fleets in an enterprise or manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with IT ticketing systems, incident management, and technical support procedures.
Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with end users, technical teams, and external service providers.

Preferred Experience

Experience supporting Xerox printers and coordinating with Xerox technical support teams.
Previous experience in aerospace, manufacturing, industrial, or other large enterprise environments.
Understanding of printer networking, connectivity, and device management.
